RVCC Family Life Center (FLC) Use Policies

The primary purpose of this document is to set forth policies and procedures regarding the use of RVCC Facilities.

  1. RVCC related activities will have precedence over ALL non-RVCC related activities. Every effort will be made to ensure that RVCC activities are scheduled well in advance, but in the event that an un-re-schedulable RVCC event arises, it will still have precedence over non-RVCC events.

  2. Donations will be expected for any use of the FLC that is not a RVCC related activity or doesn't directly benefit RVCC. A security deposit of $100 is required for use of the FLC. If the facilities have been returned to the state they were in before the activity as determined through inspection by the pastor or a representative of the church board, the security deposit will be returned.

  3. Regular attenders and members of RVCC will have preference over others both in scheduling and expected donation level for use of the FLC.

  4. All individuals and groups using the FLC will be provided with an outline of policies regarding use of the building and will be expected to sign a form indicating understanding of those guidelines and agreement to abide by them.

  5. RVCC reserves the right to determine the suitability of the activity as wholesome, moral, and ethical and may reject any request determined to have the potential of bringing any perceived disrepute to our church. This determination will be at the sole discretion of the church board and the pastor or his designate.

  6. The FLC will not be available for use during any regularly scheduled RVCC activities even if the RVCC activities are restricted to the church building and are not using the FLC, unless special arrangements are made with the church board and the pastor.

  7. The FLC is logically made up of two separate facilities; the kitchen and the Gymnasium. The gymnasium may be reserved without the kitchen, but the kitchen may not be used without the gymnasium.
